Skuppah is an ancient place alongside the river near the meeting of the Thompson and Fraser.
We are a small community and conduct business out of our Band Office at 988 McIntyre Road.
In response to the Lytton Creek Wildfire on June 30, 2021, Skuppah opened its doors to local residents to provide a place to distribute food and provide a space for health and medical visits. The Skuppah Relief Centre is now closed. There is currently a doctors office which can be reached at lyttonmedicalclinic.ca.
Skuppah is a member band of the Nlaka'pamux Nation Tribal Council, the Union of BC Indian Chiefs and the BC Assembly of First Nations. We are also aligned with other First Nations in various organizations such as child welfare and development, and womens services.
